The family believes that she married our great grandfather, William Lake. I am related to the Youngs from Sheaves Cove in St. Georges. I am looking up my family history. If you need paperwork or information, just call St. Joseph's Church and alot of marriage certificates, and Baptism certificates are in archives at the church. On 29 Mar 2009, Kim Kendell mentioned "great great grandmother Hannah Hynes born in Conne River in 1825 married William Crant of Wreck Cove." Do you now if she had any sisters? I have a great great grandmother Hynes that I suspect was Hannah's sister. She married John Murphy in 1862. Any thoughts?

They married brothers William and James Williams, English men who came to Current Island sometime prior to 1850. Anna was born around 1828 and Elizabeth was born around 1830. Hello, I am hopeful that someone may have some information on my great grand mother, Francis Gallant. She married Eugene Gallant and is the mother of Mary Alice Bourgeois (Mary married Joseph Benoit). I am at a stand still and can't seem to get beyond Francis. She and Eugene lived in the St. George's Bay area in the late 1800's. She passed over before 1911 as the census has Eugene listed as a widower...
